The result of the midterm election makes me want to lie down on the floor in a fetal position and stay there for days! I am so disappointed on people forgetting so easily what caused our current ailing...
I am not a political person and I am actually not comfortable opening up my political view. I am just depressed about the result and I want to rant. But, I am still optimistic about the future of this country. However, if Sarah Palin got elected as President, then, it will be time for me to move somewhere else... Hopefully it will not end that way. I know Americans are smarter than that, I hope.

As someone who is probably different from you in my political views, let me offer you some advice. Political views and politicians come and go but America has been and will be a great place to live. Even better, America is a place where people of differing political views can not only voice them without fear or persecution, but can also be seen socializing and being friends with those of differing political views without fear. Sarah Palin may someday be president, and like you I hope that never happens, but if so, America will still be America and it will still be one of the best places to live long after she has been replaced by someone else.
@Ed, Thanks for the assurance. I am very grateful to be in this country. America will always be the country where my loyalty lies. I am still learning about the political process and how Americans think.
