It is a record warm winter. It got to almost 60 degrees here. To the library we went...

We've spent the last couple weeks going to the park everyday after school. I keep telling myself that this day is probably the last before winter comes and winter proves me wrong. We still haven't had winter but evidently the groundhog said we have six more weeks possible. What a weird year!

@Ed, It is weird. Then today 4th of Feb., we have the big snow, but starting to melt already. I still cannot rejoice 100 percent because I know it's not over yet...
@Geri, I hope that Benji will be half as smart as Evan...They have the same eyes..
@MAkis, That's my favorite too. He is a difficult subject for photo because he would not listen to me...

I was up there during that snow storm and it was like walking through water. The snow was that wet. Although I didn't try, I would guess you could wring water out of any snowball that was made.
Back in SE Iowa, we only got a slight dusting out of that storm and the only sign that it did snow was a spot in the shade of our back deck on the north side of the house.
@Haze, we had some snow before that pic but they melted. We had warm Feb. Then couple of day after the pics, it snowed again. I am not celebrating yet. Today, it is actually bitterly cold...
@Ed Yes the snow was heavy. We do not have a snow blower, we shovel. It was a workout. Benji's pants got wet too...
